We are a very small company based in South Lanarkshire in Scotland, UK, about 20 miles due south of Glasgow. Primarily the 'we' is 'me' - Ian Anderson - although I do occasionally sub-contract out graphics work, and I plan for growth and expansion, so in these repects using terms such as 'we' and 'us' indicates these factors. I currently have a normal (is there such a thing?) day job - everyone needs to pay their bills - and this venture is a means for me to improve my skills whilst also earning a little extra income. As such it is run in my spare time in the evenings and weekends as necessary. However it is my dearest intention that this business takes off sufficiently to allow me to give up the day job and focus solely on this venture.
So, why should you trust me to be able to handle your website requests? What qualifications and experience do I have to convince you that I can "do the job" for you?
In terms of formal web-related qualifications I passed the Active Server Pages and JavaScript online tests at www.brainbench.com. However, qualifications really only show your capability to pass a test. What really matters is what you have done in the past and what your peers think of you. In these respects the Portfolio page indicates past achievements, and in relation to peer review may I suggest you check out the Forums section of the Buddy Links page.
